This is a great whole family traditional event. Before the parade starts there will be shops and food trucks and light sticks for kids. Dress warm!

OSU's 35th Annual Poinsettia Sale 🌺

You can make your home look a little more like the McCallister’s in Home Alone 1 with some festive ornamental plants grown by OSU students. They have gold-wrapped poinsettias ($6-$35) plus gerbera, lavender, and more. Three sizes are available (4 1/2”, 6”, and 8” pots) and proceeds support the university's horticulture teaching program.

Town & Gown Present A Christmas Carol 🧣

Town & Gown Theatre continues its 75th season with a production of that classic Christmas tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's conversion to goodness A Christmas Carol. They have lots of showtimes this month.

Speaking of A Christmas Carol, we never did find out how Jacob Marley died, did we!? Well, at this event we know: Jacob Marley was murdered, and one attendee is the killer! Come checkout this interactive murder mystery based on the story. Participants receive scripts, can dress in Victorian-era clothing, and enjoy pies. Register to find out whodunit!

Wreaths Across America Remembrance Service 🇺🇸

This is a special remembrance service honoring over 1,500 of our known veterans resting at Fairlawn Cemetary. Major General (retired) and MC Doug Dollar does a wonderful job directing the service. You can attend and volunteer to help lay a balsam wreath or two at a gravesite, or sponsor a wreath for $17. All are invited to attend.

Winter Crown Tournament ⚔️ 🏰

Did y’all know we have a Barony here?! Neither did I, and "By my troth" I’m way behind on my tribute!

Next weekend, try something way out of the ordinary and see some medieval-style tournamenting, thanks to the Society for Creative Anachronism! Registration is $25 general admission or $15 for members, with various medieval-themed activities throughout the day. So grab that gauntlet and dust off your chainmail for a most medieval time!
