This Saturday the downtown Main Street area will have local vendors, food trucks, and downtown specials so you can get a jump on your holiday shopping while feeling good about supporting local business. The weather looks pretty good for Saturday 🤞 ⛅

Bluey, Blippi & Paw Patrol + Kids = Squeals 🐶💙

Bluey, Paw Patrol, and Blippi will be at Lina’s Little Play Café this weekend. It’s a great opportunity for weekend fun, taking pictures, and doing the Bluey intro music dance.

Sign up for a time spot here. There about $12 each. The ticket times indicate which character will be present when, so plan accordingly for maximum squeals of delight 👍.

Latin Dance Classes Every Sunday 💃

If you’re looking for add a little spice to life, try some salsa…dancing. StillyArts is holding Latin dance classes every Sunday from 2-4 PM. No experience, no partner? No problemo! Bring comfortable shoes and have fun! And you know it’s going to be fun because the dances you’ll learn all sound edible (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue).

The Fruit Truck Returns with Citrus Fix 🍊🚚

Orange pumpkins, orange leaves, orange OSU life, and now...oranges! Well, Satsuma mandarins technically but close enough. And they’re heading on a truck from wherever they were picked to us via the Fruit Truck.

These Satsumas have few seeds, are easy to peel, and are sweet and juicy. They’re great for decorations, eating (!), and stocking stuffers. When I was a kid, my mom would put oranges in our stockings and we’d suck out the juice through a candy cane. About 20% of the time we were successful. Should’a tried Satsumas!

Price: Satsumas $35 for 10 lbs | Mixed Box $50 for 20 lbs.

Bundle up yourself and the fam for this annual holiday main street merriment event! You can come early to shop, grab a bite and settle into a nice spot before the parade begins at 6:30 PM. Santa himself will be bringing up the rear of the parade.

Lights on the Lake Grand Opening Night ✨

The Eastside recreation area of Lake McMurtry is turning up the twinkle factor with Lights on the Lake. You can walk or drive through and take in the winter wonderland-lighted displays along the lakeside. Santa will be there, and opening night is free entry! After that it’s $6/vehicle entry.

It’d be great for a family outing…or even future family…🤔

Guys–listen up–this is a great romantic date idea! Think of it: hand-holding, staying warm together, hot cocoas. And it runs for three weekends, so it shouldn’t be too hard to schedule. Call your lady now!

VisitStillwater has put together a Where is Santa tracker that has a list of dates and locations for where you and your family can tell him your Christmas present wishes and get a photo.

Dates range from December 4 through December 23.

Too Good To Go App: Coming to Stillwater? 🍔📱

I recently stumbled upon an app called Too Good To Go that helps restaurants sell leftover food at a discount instead of tossing it. Woohoo! That ther’ is a triple win: a win for businesses, a win for your wallet, and win for the planet!

According to their website, there aren’t any participating locations in Stillwater yet. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Is this something we should have in Stillwater?

If you’re not familiar with TRAX, they sell wholesale construction items, flooring, appliances, furniture, and food and clothing. So this is a sale on top of regularly discounted goods! A Christmas Carol at Bible Baptist Church 🧣

The Bible Baptist Church invites the community to a Christian adaptation of A Christmas Carol. You Performances will be held on Friday, December 12, at 7 PM and Saturday and December 13, at 1 PM at Bible Baptist Church. ^{(My apologies for last week’s typo on the date)}

Enjoy festive photo ops before and after the show, plus a cookie-decorating session following Saturday’s showing. Tickets are free, but seating is limited, so reserve yours soon!

Lost Creek UMC will be hosting their Annual Fall Bazaar this Saturday morning at 8 AM. All are invited! They provide a hearty warm breakfast (courtesy of the Men's Group). They have homemade quilts, jams, baked goods, stained glass, themed baskets, and free crafts for kids.
