Good Little Eater and Stonecloud are hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch at the Stonecloud Taproom patio on Sunday, May 11 from 10-2. Here’s their menu for the day. Local band The Heard will be there as well providing music.

Classic Cinema at the Center Presents…. 📽🍿

This month’s classic movie is The Big Sleep, staring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. The movie starts Friday, May 9 at 7 PM in the Winfrey Houston Auditorium at the Stillwater Community Center. Stillwater High School Band Finale 🎶

Come celebrate a school year’s worth of hard work with a night of beautiful music from the Stillwater High School Bands. This is their final concert of the year and it promises to be a crowd-pleaser! (And thanks to Stillwater Lokal Life reader Kerry McNickle for letting me know!)

Stillwater Chamber Singers' 40th Anniversary 🎼🎉

The Stillwater Chamber Singers have been singing for forty years! Alumni are traveling in for this reunion celebration and concert for the public to enjoy. The theme is “Our Story in Song”. Past conductors Jerry McCoy, Robert Ward, Nancy Cobb, Mark Lawlor, and Nataša Kaurin-Karača will be there. Should be a splendid way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Stamp Out Hunger This Saturday 📬🥫

Join your neighbors and local letter carriers in the largest single-day food drive in the country! Just leave a bag of non-perishable food items near your mailbox before delivery time this Saturday, May 10, and it’ll be picked up and donated to Our Daily Bread and The Salvation Army. Organizer Brenden Swan hopes to collect 14,000 pounds of food this year. We can do this!

For what to donate, they suggest non-perishable items like canned goods (meats, fruits or vegetables), pasta, rice, soups, peanut butter, granola bars, cereal, nuts, beans, olive oil and dried fruit.

Stillwater Wine & Craft Festival 🍷🎨

Our Expo Center is at it again! Last weekend it was Craftapalooza. This Saturday its the Wine and Craft Festival. Organizers say there will be over 75 booths featuring wine, beer, food, home décor, woodworking, jewelry, art, and more. It will be indoors so no worries about un-festivalish weather. And there will be food trucks too (though they may be outside!
