The first show at Town & Gown in 2025 takes the stage tonight with local director Corbett Dalton’s production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Based on Anne’s famous diary, this powerful play brings to life the courage, resilience, and humanity of eight people hiding from Nazis in a concealed attic during WWII.

Learn to Make Wildflower Seed Bombs 💣🌱
I’ve never heard of this before, but apparently a seed bomb is a bunch of seeds wrapped in soil, clay and paper mush. Once made, these can be stored for months and when the season is right, just throw your seed bomb where you want your wild flowers to “go off”. The clay and compost coating shields the seeds from birds, pests, and harsh weather while the compost provides essential nutrients for the seeds to sprout. Kinda like a seed-egg-bomb-thing! And could make a neat gift!
📅 When: This Saturday, Feb. 15 | 9–11 AM
📍 Where: Our Daily Bread (701 E 12th Ave)
✅ Free! Don’t even need to register
Meet & Greet with Your Favorite Heeler Sisters! 🐶💙

🎟️ Tickets: $10 per child (ages 15 & under). Adults get in free with a child’s ticket.

🎉 The Shelf LLC crosses 500 followers threshold
And to celebrate they’re holding a giveaway where the winner will win a “truck-load” sized bag of delicious snacks. Congrats and here’s to the next 500!
Now you can shop for kids clothes and toys and more from the comfort of your couch while supporting a local Main St. business (take that, large rainforest website!) Of course, you can always stop by too at 126 S Main St.
I love our downtown shops, especially spots like Gypsy Snark and the Vintage Media Market. They’re just a couple of the gems on Main Street.
But I’ve noticed something: many don’t have an online store.
Which got me wondering...
If your favorite downtown stores had an online shop, would you be more likely to browse and buy? What are your favorite downtown shops? I'd love to hear in the comments. |
